THE RAINBOW CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY

16 weeks of events this September in Birmingham

Birmingham dance institution The Rainbow are set to celebrate 10 years in the game with 16 weeks of fantastic events.

Starting in September and running until New Year's Day 2015, the series will pay tribute to the venues and people that put Birmingham on the clubbing map.

The very best in local talent are already in full support, including Adam Shelton, Subb-an, Tom Shorterz, Hannah Wants, Pete Graham, LFM & Mali, Samu.l and Bunny, plus a huge array of outside acts (which are strictly under wraps for now).

All eight of The Rainbow's venues — the Warehouse, Garden, Courtyard, Textile Factory, Next Door, The Arena, Spotlight and the Cellar Door — will be in full party mode, playing host to beloved clubbing brands such as Annie Mac Presents, Hospitality, Cream, Blackdot and Godskitchen.

So far exact event details are thin on the ground, however we can confirm an array of exciting projects are in the works, including a 24-hour rave, circus big top arena, fairground, and a Halloween street closure event.

The contribution The Rainbow has made to UK dance culture over the past 10 years is phenomenal, so with every corner of the spectrum covered over this huge series, any self-respecting raver will be boogying up in Brum this autumn.
