RBMA are hitting the road, coming to a city near you soon
To coincide with the recently announced Red Bull Music Academy Paris Edition, RBMA have announced a whopping UK Tour in March & April that’ll see a month-long series of events across Glasgow, Bristol, London and Manchester over four consecutive weekends.
Club-nights, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, live RBMA Radio broadcasts, day parties, immersive audio-visual experiences and more featuring the likes of A$AP ROCKY, Danny Brown, Derrick May, Chase & Status, Shy FX, JME, Skepta, David Rodigan, Dimitri from Paris, Prins Thomas, Fabio & Grooverider, Julio Bashmore, Gilles Peterson, Mount Kimbie, Optimo, Just Jack, Numbers, Todd Terry, Wolf + Lamb and many, many more...
The programme is peppered with collaborations between local heroes, institutions and labels, saluting the homegrown talent that forms the bedrock of these rich musical communities, alongside a roster of world-class heavyweights. From lectures with A$AP Rocky, Seth Troxler and Danny Brown, to experimental sensory adventures from Numbers, Goat and DJ Koze; a Wolf + Lamb all-‐dayer, Chapter 10’s take on a traditional tea dance headlined by Joe Claussell; Rebel Sound bringing out the big guns with Congo Natty and Earl Gateshead, to a workshop with production wizard Julio Bashmore, the UK Tour is a sweeping showcase of today’s emerging and established icons.
