Reddit users think they’ve cracked a hidden code that reveals the three secret headliners for Ultra’s 20th anniversary show at the end of March.
The Miami-based festival, which is set to run from 23rd to 25th March at Bayfront Park, has sent out memorial patches to Ultra ticket holders over the last few weeks, with the patch artwork supposedly hinting at the three secret guests tipped to perform over the weekend.
Redditors think the artwork points towards three acts, including mautrap boss Deadmau5 and French duo Daft Punk, alongside the long-awaited reunion of DJ/production trio Swedish House Mafia.
Rumours have been rife that Swedish House Mafia would reunite to celebrate Ultra’s two decades in operation in 2018, despite Steve Angello denying on Twitter yesterday that a reunion is on the cards.
A recent social media update on the SHM Facebook page also sent the internet into meltdown last week, before manager Amy Thomson quashed hopes of a reunion claiming she was simply “cleaning their socials” by uploading new photos to the group's fan page.
Speaking about Ultra's secret line-up, Ultra Worldwide CEO Russell Faibisch said, “Yes, something very big is in the works! Every year we pride ourselves on delivering for our fans special unannounced performances and surprises. But for the big 20th anniversary, we knew we had to deliver something huge. Something unique that can only be seen at Ultra. It is completely under wraps. The only thing I can say is to expect the unexpected.”

Ultra's sister event RESISTANCE will also make its festival debut later this year with a new party due to run 25th to 27th May in Mexico City.
Ultra Music Festival also continues to hold the title of The World’s No. 1 Festival according to DJ Mag readers.
