Putting on an open-air party in London is not far short of a revelation these days, so when we heard about Rivington Street Festival, just on our doorstep, we were most impressed.
After such a successful celebration of the The Queen's Jubilee last year, it returns on Sunday 23rd June. This time with both a live music stage and dance stage, the event will take over Rivington Street and its various side streets for another day of bass and beats al fresco.
The most dance-able of note, Hannah Holland and her Batty Bass crew return, while Somethinksounds and The Alternative Dubstep Orchestra Feat. DJ Switch join our very own DJ Mag Allstars on the dance stage.
The likes of A Vibe Called Quest, Livin' Proof, and Rock Da Belles are also involved, plus we have DJ Mag Bedroom Sessions presents Stop Making Sense planned as an afterparty (at Bedroom Bar) featuring Pardon My French, Kiwi and DJ Mag Allstars from 8pm.
