Rogue Paradis
Eddy Temple-Morris's Rogue DJs party and The Sound Of Bassline renegades are the wildcard additions in this season's Es Paradis roster.
Sitting amongst the aspirational über-cool of modern Ibiza, San Antonio's Es Paradis might not be the most obviously fashionable choice but write it off at your peril. It's marbled wedding cake style and white washed walls make it one of the most distinctly Ibizan clubs on the island. And when it properly goes off there's few more visually intense experiences out here.
By far the biggest signing is the artist always known as Eddy Temple-Morris, who brings the night formerly known as Dance Rocks - Rizla presents Rogue DJs - across the street from Eden, where it hosted the back room at Judgement Sundays last year.
Each Wednesday, from from 18th June right through to 27th August, steady Eddy will be joined by dirt peddling DJs like Mistress De Funk, Leeroy from the Prodigy and cut-and-paste badboys Cassette Jam, as well as DJ sets from indie-bands like Kasabian, Babyshambles, Snow Patrol and Hard-Fi. MSTRKRFT are also set to add their disco-punked crunch to the mix.
Another choice new addition is The Sound Of Bassline sessions on Sundays. Residents from pioneering Northern bassline night Niche - Jamie Duggan, Shaun 'Banger' Scott and Nev Wright - will be busting out the raw and funky sub-squelching pressure each week.
