A video has surfaced online, purportedly from Rolling Stone Italy, that attacks the global EDM scene.
With not-so-subtle visual references to a bubble about to burst and the insinuation that electronic music is not ‘real music’, it conjures up some of the discourse from the Comiskey Park Disco Disco Demolition Night — widely credited as the beginning of the end of the disco movement.
Whether it is a prank, misguided marketing ploy or somewhere in between - it seems like a bizarre move for a magazine who have spent the last twelve months targeting the EDM audience in the United States.
What do you think? Is it real? Is it a troll? Do they have a point? Let us know in the comments below.
