New version of Ableton Live on the way

Ableton Live have unveiled version 7 of their award winning software with a feature list as long as your arm.
A big plus for DJs mixing it up with Live is the new Nudge function. This will enable users to push Live's sequence forward or backwards, just like a record, to get it in sync with the decks.
Compressors, gates and filters now accept side-chaining inputs, multiple visible automation lanes and a reworked audio engine that promises to sound much better.
Unlike Logic Pro, there's no price drop for Live 7. The download version will be £299 (£347 boxed see Ableton.com
), and there's a stack of optional instrument suites starting at £89 including Tension, Analogue and Electric.
