Silk City Share Dua Lipa and Drake Edit in New Mix: Listen
Mark Ronson and Diplo are at it again...
Silk City — AKA producer pals Mark Ronson and Diplo — have shared their latest track which features a groove-laden mix of Dua Lipa and Drake.
Dropped on Soundcloud earlier this week (August 15th), 'Especially 4 U, Vol. 2.' clocks in at 56 minutes and features fire tracks from Danny Daze, DJ Koze and more.
Finished off with three 'Silk City Specials' — one mash-up of D’Angelo and Romanthony, another of Post Malone and Patrice Rushen, plus a funky edit of Dua Lipa and Drake — the British American duo's new mix is a cross-generational dancefloor-filler of the highest order.
Ronson and Diplo (real name Thomas Pentz) first announced their new project in January.
Named after the Philadelphia venue and diner where Diplo got his start as a DJ, Silk City played their debut live show at Governor's Ball in June.
They also played this year's Bestival at Lulworth Castle, Dorset earlier this month.
