Skrillex announces UK tour

Dubstep sensation Skrillex to tour Britain from November

Current dubstep and electronica prodigy Skrillex has announced his forthcoming UK tour, Mothership, set to start this November.

Since lighting up Victoria Park in front of twenty-five thousand people at the L.E.D festival headed by Deadmau5, demand for Skrillex to perform more live shows in the UK has been understandably high. In similar fashion, this tour is certain to leave a mark on ravers across the country.

Skrillex, also known as Sonny Moore, will be bringing his outrageously gifted mix of dubstep, electro and glitch to venues ranging from Londons rave-ready Koko through to the Mandela Hall in Belfast. Other venues gearing up for what is sure to be a tear-up include Glasgow, Sheffield, Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester. Moreover, Skrillex will be supported by dubstep big-hitters Flux Pavillion, KOAN Sound and the highly acclaimed Feed Me.

His popularity has soared to a drastic extent since his first independent nine song EP release 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites', and in doing so made history when it became the first dubstep track to reach the number 1 spot on chart website Beatport. Speaking on the excitement surrounding the tour, Skrillex adds: “This is going to be an incredible tour. I wanted a diverse line-up and I wanted to showcase great music, great people, and great times!”.
