Skrillex is back in the studio with Boys Noize
There could be new Dog Blood on the cards...
It looks like Boys Noize and Skrillex have been working on new music together
A mysterious Instagram story on Boys Noize’s profile on 19th May showed Skrillex and Los Angeles-based experimental electronic musician Baseck working together on studio equipment. Despite the video containing no audio, fans have been speculating about what the post could signify since it was shared on the r/Skrillex subreddit.
Boys Noize and Skrillex have, of course, collaborated in the past under their Dog Blood moniker. While they have gotten together for shows here and there in the past couple of years and even teased new material last summer, the “supergroup” of sorts has been relatively quiet for some time.
Whether this Instagram story is an indicator of new material to come from Dog Blood (or a new project) or not is anyone’s guess but we’ll keep you updated in any case.
