Something for the weekend?

After last year's week-long experiment,
Radio 1 return to the traditional format of
their Ibiza weekender with a packed
schedule.

As is custom, Pete Tong will kickstart things with an
Essential Selection from Mambo on Friday 10th August,
before Annie Mac takes over for two hours of
eclecticism.

Saturday is when it really goes off though. After the
Radio 1 All Stars combine for three hours of Mambo
mayhem at 4pm, Judge Jules will go out live from the
beach bar between 7pm and 9pm, before a special Ibiza
Rocks broadcast with Zane Lowe and special live guests
at Bar M.

Then it's off to Amnesia's Cream for five hours of big
room broadcasts with Sasha, Eddie Halliwell, Steve
Angello, Axwell and Touché. Yikes!
Back at Mambo, cheeky Northerner Vernon Kay will
host the 'morning after' between 10am and 1pm, on
Sunday 12th August, while Dave Pearce wraps things up
with his live Dance Anthems.
