SOS this Sunday 1st at Egg

Sound of the alternate royal wedding weekend

Apart from leading to comically inaccurate commemorative mugs, the Royal Wedding’s biggest contribution to the land of rave is to give the Great British public yet another extended weekend to show our patriotism in the time-honoured fashion; by going to as many parties as possible and generally ruing all opportunity for actual rest and relaxation.

Chief on DJmag’s list is God Save Our Scene run by perennial innovator on the London club landscape, Jim Warboy. The creative brains behind such alternative clubs as Kash Point and All You Can Eat, the toast of every fashion magazine worth it's salt (at least that’s what it looked like lying on their table), his latest SOS venture hits Egg this Sunday 1st May.

With a host of DJs including Kitsune electro upstarts Punks Jump Up, recent Southern Fried signing Kris Di Angelis, World Unknown boss Andy Blake and DJmag’s Joe Roberts, other attractions in the huge three story club include performances from Niyi, recent star of Come Dine with Me, and a fashion show from Studio_805.

Full details and ticket links are below but in the meantime you can preview and download Warboy’s brand new DJ Weekly podcast coming next week.
