Space on the Bus

MySpace Summer Daze are go

Festival season is back. Hurrah, happy days! This year has a new (well fairly, it's only in its second year) addition to the mud pits, over priced burgers, dirty underwear and broken wellies, the Routemaster. So we may not have them back on the London streets but at festivals around the country this year they'll earn a second lease of life, courtesy of the MySpace Summer Daze clan.

The world's most popular networking site is travelling 2,500 miles across the British Isles to bring our smelly festival selves the cream of the crop when it comes to dance music. Live performances on the bus so far include the likes of Soulwax, Kissy Sell Out, Crystal Castles, Ed Banger DJs, The Black Ghosts, Evil Nine, Adam Freeland, Crookers, Xpress 2, Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip and many, many more at festivals like Rock Ness (7th – 8th June), Global Gathering (25th – 26th July), Field Day (9th August) and Creamfields (23rd -24th August).

If you're not battling the elements with your pop-up gazebo this year, MySpace are filming the whole thing in 'webisodes' to be shown online through MySpace TV, so you can sit at home in front of your warm log fire and still get that fuzzy festival feeling – not the one in your mouth when you wake up in the morning either.
