SPACE MOSCOW

Ibiza club announces Russian wing

Space — one of Ibiza's leading superclubs — has announced a wing is to be opened in Moscow later this year.

The announcement comes after the 24-year-old brand revealed plans to launch Space New York also this year. Last year, clubs in Brazil and Menorca joined Space Sharm Sheik (Egypt) as licensees of the brand, making Moscow the fifth.

A statement from the club read: 'Located in the city centre, near the International Trade Center (Moscow City) and Kutuzov Avenue, the architecture of this new generation club is a 9000 square meters coliseum divided in three levels that count 18 bars, a main terrace, a VIP terrace, an ample parking and a 3.500 person capacity dance floor. All areas are equipped with a Funktion One sound system exclusively designed for Space Ibiza and its franchises. Combining all these elements will allow Space Moscow to bring in an ever-growing city the very best of modern electronic music.'
