Fans caught Armin performing alongside an all-star trance cast including Shogun, tyDi, Menno de Jong, Aly & Fila and Alex M.O.R.P.H.
We also caught up with Markus Schulz on his part in the huge Den Bosch gig.
How have you found ASOT 500?
“ASOT 500 has been an amazing experience. The tour has been epic, and I’m really happy to have been a part of it. The crowd has been amazing – everyone has just been rocking out – both at the gigs and those listening in online.”
How do you find using Flowd?
“Flowd has been great – it’s been awesome being able to see all the comments and shouts everyone’s leaving for me at each gig. As I’ve been travelling literally all over the world, it’s nice being able to stay in touch with my fans when I’m not in one set location. Plus I can do everything from within the app which I really like – post images, shouts, Twitter updates – it’s great.”
“I’m still touring around the world. I’m heading east to Singapore in a few weeks, before heading out to Space in Ibiza in July which will be immense!”
Flowd, the social network who the tour was run in conjunction with, held over 51,000 discussions from Armin van Buuren asking fans to recommend their favourite tracks for the A State of Trance 500 compilation to fans arranging to meet up at events.
