Steve Aoki teams up with Blue Man Group

For Las Vegas Electric Daisy Carnival - June 8 – 10

Insomniac Events have found their spiritual – or otherwise – home in Las Vegas Strip as they approach the 16th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) from June 8 – 10 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

This year, however, they're flipping the script with an unlikely collaboration between Blue Man Group, the collection of blue-faced pranksters, musicians and entertainers, and Steve Aoki, the head of Dim Mak Records, who recently released his debut album 'Wonderland' which featured a cast of big name guests from Lil Jon to LMFAO.

“I’ve always worked hard to deliver the most entertaining performance possible,” says Steve who is know for cake throwing and champagne spraying on-stage. “What better way to do that than to partner with Blue Man Group for Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas.”

“Steve Aoki, whose performance is just as important as his music, presents the perfect partnership as those qualities completely match our own artistic desires,” adds Chris Wink, founder of Blue Man Group. “It will be a night of outrageous color, humor, music and technology all on one stage.”

EDC ticket holders also have the opportunity to experience Blue Man Group at The Venetian for a special price throughout the month of June. Using the code EDC2012, fans can save more than $45 with a complimentary seat upgrade from Red Zone to Blue Zone seating. Ticket prices start at $59 plus tax and service fees and can be reserved by calling 1.800.blueman or visiting www.blueman.com/lasvegas
