Stop Showin' Off presents: The Halloween Howler

Free night of filthy fun and frolics at spooky North London boozer…

As you are aware, apart from an excuse to cover your face in ketchup, run about town like a zombie priest and get royally messed up, Halloween is also a bloody good chance to go nuts to quality dance music. From deep house to techno, dubstep to UK funky, pretty much every venue worth its salt in the Big Smoke on 28th-30th October will have some evil electronica on offer.

But, as you know, Halloween is also about fun – not just a bunch of po-faced aficionados standing around chin-stroking to the music only they "know” about. Musical appreciation is all so well and good, sure, but sometimes you just wanna dress up like Teen Wolf, perform a dance routine to Kool & The Gang and have a bloomin’ good party, right?

Well, this is the tip North London party Stop Showin' Off will be on when it returns to the Abbey Tavern on Saturday 29th October. Heartfelt pop, bump’n’grind rnb and old skool hip-hop delivered with skill and finesse (and always with a droll Ian Beale smile) by top-notch DJs so those pesky party kids can have, yet another, Halloween Howler. Pop an eye out for gruesome giveaways, blood-curdling competitions (it’s a whole lotta fun, prizes to be won) and plenty of bad-ass body popping to tunes from the Mr Thing, The Last Skeptik, Lucy 'Living Dead' Pink, Adam ‘Slayer’ Saville, DJ Postscript and Josh ‘Killa’ Sparrow until 3am (the night the clocks go back)... Oh, and it’s absolutely FREE (all night). Mwahahahaaa!
