Words: Bianca Mitchell

The latest addition to the already ridonkulous South West Four line-up are none other than hip-hop legends Salt ‘N’ Pepper. The girls take to the Kiss Main Stage as part of the Sunday leg of SW4 and will be their first London performace in over fifteen years.

The trio consisting of Cheryl Williams (‘Salt’) Sandra Denton (‘Pepa’) and Deidra ‘Dee Dee’ Roper (DJ ‘Spinderalla’) hit the UK charts in 1986 with the massive unforgettable single ‘Push It’. Expect to hear that plus all the other good old classics like ‘Shake Your Thang’, ‘Twist and Shout’, ‘Let’s Talk About Sex’, ‘Shoop’ and ‘Whatta Man’. What a treat!

Day two of South West Four continues with a man whose name has become synonymous with the festival - Carl Cox. He returns to Clapham Common to host his Carl Cox & Friends Arena with techno lords Dubfire,Adam Beyer, London institution Layo & Bushwackaand German duo M.A.N.D.Y.

Top those names off with global superstar Fatboy Slim surrounded by a whole host of other outstanding names on his Southern Fried main stage and you have yourself quite the party eh? True, but that’s not even half of what’s in store for you this August Bank Holiday weekend.
