Techno festival Kappa Futur adds 7,500sq ft industrial area, Futur Stage

The newly added stage will host Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Rødhåd, Robert Hood and others...

Techno festival Kappa Futur, which runs between 7th and 8th July in Torino, Italy, has added the brand-new Futur Stage, a 7,500-square metre area of rusted industrial columns, exposed stonework and lawns.

Teased earlier this year, the added Futur Stage also expands the capacity of the festival by an additional 5,000 people per day. The new site was recently road tested by Derrick May, who live-streamed a one-hour set from the festival’s venue, Parco Dora.

This year, the homegrown Italian daytime summer festival will feature a techno- and house-heavy line-up across four stages, with confirmed acts including Eric Prydz, Peggy Gou, The Martinez Brothers, Apparat, Andrea Oliva, Eats Everything, Patrick Topping and more. The newly added Futur Stage will host Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Rødhåd, Robert Hood and others.
