There’s a techno rave on an abandoned military airbase happening this summer

Featuring Derrick May, Robert Hood, Avalon Emerson and many more!

Onder de Radar is a techno rave taking place in an abandoned Dutch military airbase this summer.

Taking place on 11th August, the one-day music festival boasts a line-up stuffed with top techno talent such as Derrick May, Robert Hood, Ben Sims, Avalon Emerson, and many more.

Organised by long-running techno promoters Basic Grooves, Onder De Radar is set in the grounds of a derelict airbase in Enschede in the Netherlands.

Festival goers will be able to get down to Europe’s best dance music in any of the site’s four arenas which include two former F-16 shelters and an old barracks.

Built in 1931, the ex-airport has been out of action since the Dutch military ceased use of it in December 2007.

It’s the first event of this kind to happen at the location — officially titled Vliegveld Twenthe — and also features Function, Steve Rachmad, Barnt, ROD and Dekmantel Soundsystem on the bill.

Tickets are available here and start from €27.50 (£24.19) for the early bird package.
