The Big Chill veteran Tom Middleton has performed at the festival for the past 16 years, this year he has planned something special for the fans.
“I’m looking forward to DJing and also curating a tastemaker space stacked with Function-One over the three nights showcasing the sickest underground emotive electronic and bass music artists and Djs on the scene,” said Middleton.
Middleton will be hosting a stage of his very own, building on his legacy with the festival.
“Fantastic to still be involved in The Big Chill! To have witnessed its growth and evolution from a humble 500 folk in a filed to hosting 10s of thousands of ‘Chillers’ at the glorious Eastnor Castle,” said Middleton.
Middleton said that the festival will house “truly electric and entertaining line ups of classic artists and DJs to suit all tastes.”
Other confirmed acts include Taylor Mc Ferrin, NZ Shapeshifter, and Here We Go Magic, with special appearances by Kanye West, The Chemical Brothers and Rodrigo y Gabriela, and performances from Fuel’s dance and sound spectacular Electric Hotel and The Simple Things in Life.
The Big Chill will be held on Thursday 4th – Sunday 7th August 2011 at Eastnor Castle Deer Park in Ledbury, Herefordshire.
