The waffle: Norman Cook's Southern Fried parties were always the hot ticket in Miami – it will be no different in the 'Dam. Apart from the absence of palm trees, of course.

The waffle: Arthur Baker's Return To New York party teams up with Rauw for their annual take-no-prisoners Amsterdam rock out/Hell's Angel-style beard festival. Chain-whipping optional.

The cast: Arthur will be tipping gins with the likes of Christopher Just, Freaks, Joost Van Bellen, Motor and Rex The Dog.

COCOON @ THE SAND

The waffle: It's the kings of minimal techno as Ibiza, Frankfurt and Amsterdam collide. Which sounds a bit messy to us. Strap yourself in for this one.

ARMADA @ OCEAN DIVA

The waffle: Armada is on home turf - or home waters, if we are going to get technical - but alas, Armin is away being a superstar DJ on the other side of the planet.

The cast: No Armin, but Markus Schulz, Perry O'Neil, M.I.K.E., Signum, Leon Boiler and Harry Lemon should be enough able seamen to tempt you.

The waffle: The biggest Dutch DJ of all time is back for a rare club gig in Amsterdam – expect all manner of roadblocks as Tiësto digs out his latest box of magic tricks.

The waffle: Take cover! The Poker Flat crew are in the house. Which means minimal techno and other hilarious German-type ket music to bump into walls by.

The waffle: It's one of the most talked about parties in Miami – it's also one of the most talked about parties in Amsterdam. Batten down the hatches, this one's gonna be off the proverbial hook.
