Ultra Europe forced to relocate for next four years

The relocation will take effect this year...

Ultra Europe will be moving to a new home this year.

The festival confirmed via social media yesterday that the European edition will move from the Poljud Stadium in Croatia to Mladeži Park, less than one kilometre from the original venue, and will remain at Mladeži Park for the next four years.

The news comes after Ultra Europe were blighted with relocation rumours earlier this week, when a UEFA football game was scheduled to take place at the Poljud Stadium one week after the festival.

Speaking on the move Joe Bašić from MPG Live said "At this point, I can confirm that the Ultra Europe Festival will be held at the Park Mladeži stadium for the next four years. The new location is more spacious and larger and will allow for the further development of the festival and better visitor experience"

The new stadium will accomodate 165,000 festival attendees and allows for a larger main stage.

Ultra Europe 2019 takes place at Mladeži Park in Croatia from 12th to 14th July 2019.

Swedish House Mafia, Carl Cox and Armin van Buuren are among the acts to perform at this year's Ultra Europe.
