Surprising, we know, but clubs in London — not just warehouses with a soundsystem made out of Papier Mâché — are celebrating New Year's Eve too (shock horror!).
Salvaging the lost art of bringing real DJs to real clubs to ring in New Year, Bruk Out's NYE bonanza has invited UK garage legends Zed Bias and Wookie to spin alongside the residents at Big Chill House.
Bruk Out, with its trusty team of residents mixing up hip-hop, house, bashment and bass, is a London party already renowned for kick-starting a rumpus, so the joining of two DJs who defined two-step in the early '00s, while staying crucial by experimenting with house and future forms of bass since, are bound to prick more than a few interested ears, especially as it falls on New Year's.
Tickets are £20, but we are offering DJ Mag readers the chance to win a batch of four tickets and a table with a bottle of bubbly or spirit on the night. All you need to do is share this link on Twitter or Facebook tagging both #BrukOutNYE and #DJMag. Winners will be announced next Wednesday. Go!
