Visionquest bring third DC10 takeover
“If the lord had intended us to walk, he wouldn’t have invented roller skates.” Wise yet cryptic words from Lee Curtiss, Detroit techno DJ of Visionquest fame alongside Seth Troxler, Shaun Reeves and Ryan Crosson, who are pegged for another b2b DJ set all night long on Wednesday 1st August at DC10.
Obviously, travelling in style is on the brain for these guys. However, while roller skates and time travel may have been cool enough for Marty McFly, the journey Visionquest have in mind is, well, exactly that – a voyage into the darkest, most hidden corners of the human psyche.
To unleash this warped world of hedonism, they've drafted in Jon Ozias and Secret Productions (behind Secret Garden Party and Glade Festival) to transform Ibiza's most sultry club into a place where imaginations will be stretched, poked and twisted through audio visual insighting the collective's psychedelic vision.
It'll be the third year Visionquest embark on this assault on the senses in a bid to subert party norms, and blow the roof off the terrace in the process.
"This event on August 1st at DC10 marks the first step towards our larger plan to transforming event spaces worldwide to create a unique, interactive and wholly immersive party experience. We aim to take people somewhere else, even if just for a little while,” added Ryan.
