Warrior One 'King Pigeon' EP Launch
With Black Acre showcase at Corisca Studios this Saturday 15th May
The fantastic Warrior One, who we featured in the March issue of DJ Mag, bring their brand of jungle and reggae infused UK funky to Corsica Studios this Saturday 15th May to celebrate the launch of their ‘King Pigeon’ EP on their own label.
They’re supported by the cream of the urban house, funky and broken scene with Julio Bashmore, Doc Daneeka and Rough Ryders supported by MC Serocee. As well as that Heatwave bring the dancehall and Chew the Fat! main blog man JP will be bringing his brand of big bass, including no doubt the resurrected Fat! label’s second release from Randomer and Fife, out 24th May.
In the other room the mighty Black Acre label journey down from across the border for their first ever London label showcase. Rinse FM and Black Acre’s N-Type heads the rowdy line-up that includes Blue Daisy (live) and noise-merchant Raffertie. They’re supported by Pariah, Synkro and Dark Sky whose recent Black Acre single ‘Something to Lose’ made our Killers section.
