Watch a new short film about Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow

The film was made during the 2017 edition of Glastonbury

You can now watch a new short film about Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow.

The NYC Downlow, Block9’s infamous queer club, first arrived at Glastonbury over a decade ago, and celebrated its 10th birthday in 2017.

Directed by Harry Lawson, the footage for the Meat Rack documentary was filmed during the 2017 event, when the life-size, film-set replica of a New York meat packer's warehouse descended once again on Worthy Farm.

Meat Rack is available to watch via Youtube until the 30th June. Check it out below.

This weekend, festival behemoth Block9 are teaming up with DJ Mag to bring you a live stream of Block9 favourites from their London warehouse HQ. Block9 and The Downlow Radio are raising money money for good causes including Runnymede Trust and Medecins Sans Frontiers (Doctors Without Borders).
