What are you wearing right now?
Tube: “I'm wearing my favorite Lacoste shoes and my pretty old blue Adidas sweatpants. This stuff is great for traveling and combined with my grey hoodie by Religion I feel very comfortable. I probably wouldn't go out like that but for touring it's awesome.”
Berger: “I am wearing my favorite selvedge denim, made by Natural Selection, a small British company and one of my Merz b. Schwanen shirts, old school style made in Germany.”
How would you describe your style?
Tube: “Our style is easy to describe, it is urban, casual, sometimes influenced by street wear elements.”
Who is your favourite designer?
Berger: “We don’t have any favorite designers or labels. We think the times people were watching for special brands or wearing only few ones are really over. We mix and match everything we like. We buy spontaneously, most times unbranded stuff, important is quality and in the best case a fair trade way of producing.”
What is your favourite boutique/store?
Tube: “There is this sweet little shop in Cologne called Cyroline where we both find almost everything we need and there is another one in Düsseldorf called Pick Up. You can get the coolest old school punk and rock n roll stuff. The shop owner is a funny old punk and he is always in the mood to have a funny chat.”
What is your most treasured item?
Tube: “I'd say my fisher trousers from Thailand and my good old leather jacket.”
Berger: “A blue tracksuit top from Zara which I wear a lot.”
What are you currently working on?
“At the moment we're touring a lot so it's hard to find time for the studio. But we'll make a remix for our buddy Daniel Steinberg and another one for the one and only Roger Sanchez. By the end of the year we want to start working on our new album. Busy times but good times.”
