What are you wearing right now?
“I’m currently in the studio here in Ibiza and I'm rocking a pair of leopard print Converse, skinny black Zara jeans, bright turquoise vest, All Saints leather jacket and a Billionaire Boys Club hat, with a deep sea on the wrist for telling the time.”
How would you describe your style and do you have a fashion icon?
“My style always consists of a pair of skinny black jeans and something bright! I love hats, it's not often I’m caught without one on! No real fashion icons really, my inspiration comes from being on the road mostly and seeing different fashions everywhere I go.”
Describe an outfit you remember from as far back into your childhood as possible...
“I remember a Dennis the Menace-style striped jumper I just loved; and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hat I rocked out riding my BMX, when I was about five, causing mischief!”
Who is your favourite designer?
“I don’t really have one in particular, I just love finding quirky little boutiques more than anything. But if I had to chose one, I love Vivienne Westwood’s stuff, the Too Fast To Live Too Young To Die campaign was mint.”
What is your favourite boutique?
“There are loads but my favourite is H Lorenzo on Sunset in LA, really cool stuff and a great sushi place next door!”
What is your most treasured item of clothing or jewellery?
“My favourite item has to be a little zip-up jumper I bought in London last year, it’s the one in my press pics, it wasn’t expensive but it’s really different with some really bright crazy patterns on the arms. I love it and it gets an outing at any opportunity.”
What are you currently working on?
“I’ve just released my first artist album ‘The Butterfly Effect’ on my label Spread Your Wings, which was amazing, to put it out on my own label, that’s what I really want to concentrate on this year: building the label. The album came with remixes from some of my favourite artists like Tone of Arc, John Tejada and Gabriel Ananda. I have a lot of cool stuff planned for it over the summer, plus loads of exciting live shows and touring planned, and a few cool collaborations in the pipeline too. Also working on a new downtempo album, love making that stuff, so really exciting.”
