The very stylish and ultra-chic Alex Gaudino tells it like it is.
What are you wearing right now?
"I'm wearing a DSquared shirt and jeans. These guys have been among my favourite designers for 10 years. A lot of people are just beginning to get it, but I've been on to them on from their very first collections. My shoes are Adidas Originals, possibly Micropacer (I have the whole collection!)."
How would you describe your style?
"Fashion oriented but comfortable, with a touch of originality, I hope! I like to get stuff from different designers and adapt it on my taste."
Favourite designers?
"Right now, John Galliano, Krisvanasshe, DSquared and Ugo Cacciatori.
It's the right mix for me. And you know how important the mix is for a DJ!"
Favourite boutique / store?
"Clauds Morene in Novara, they stock all the best designers but they really buy in with taste and originality, which is very important I guess."
How do you like to shop?
"When I'm looking for something I can't get in a shop I usually look for it online and nine times out of ten, I find what I'm looking for."
Most treasured item?
"Mmmm, not easy. I think I'm a fashion victim and I have some real masterpieces in my collection. But my real treasure is an old Replay jacket I bought in the 1992 and I still have it in my wardrobe."
What are you up to?
"I'm currently working on my album, finishing a couple of new singles, some remixes and some really exciting collaborations. DJ wise, I've tours coming up across Europe, Asia and North America. You can also catch me in Ibiza at Eden for the Koolwaters parties and at Amnesia for Robbie Rivera's Juicy Party.
