WHO IS THE UK’S BEST DJ?

Find out at fabric London next week!

Voting in our annual Best of British poll is now complete. The annual homage to the UK underground is an essential landmark on the UK electronic music calendar. The results will be announced at our Award Winners party at London’s fabric on Wednesday 17th December.

The event will feature a headline set from the winner of the Best DJ category - who will be revealed on the night. The winner of this category will be joined by an incredible array of artists including Darius Syrossian, Patrick Topping, Josh Butler, Ralph Lawson, Mak & Pasteman, Mark E, Mat Playford and Brassica!

But who is the UK’s Best DJ? These are the candidates to be playing the headline set at fabric on Wednesday 17th December! You can get tickets here!

JACKMASTER
The Numbers co-founder is one of the UK’s most in demand DJs. His eclectic DJ sets, which see him fusing house classics, disco and techno, are the stuff of legend. His residency at XOYO raised his profile even further in 2014 and his Essential Mix (below) was our annual office highlight.

JAMES ZABIELA
The CDJ wizard and Born Electric boss is one of the country’s - and in fact the world’s - finest DJs. Like Jackmaster he mixes up his styles and uses technology to stand out from the crowd. Check out his epic set from his We Love… Space Ibiza residency below.

EROL ALKAN
Bugged Out regular/Phantasy Sound proprietor and genre-melding DJ and producer Erol Alkan has an innate ability to rock a crowd. His fabric 77 compilation is one of the year’s comp highlights!

SURGEON
Techno goliath Surgeon was recently dubbed by FACT as ‘arguably the finest techno DJ in the world’. And for good reason; whether it is in the studio, or behind the decks, the UK DJ is at the forefront of the techno scene. Check out his Rinse FM set below.

MR SCRUFF
What is there left to say about Mr Scruff? Whether he is making us laugh, branding his own tea or releasing seminal albums - like this year's 'Friendly Bacteria' -  the Manchester DJ - who also graced our cover this year is a true DJ’s DJ.

So which one of these DJs will be playing the headline set at our Best of British Awards at fabric? The winner of the public vote is confirmed to play! And you can be there to enjoy it. Buy tickets here!
