WIN A DJ SET AT SOUNDWAVE CROATIA!

Mixcloud and Soundwave Croatia have launched a DJ competition, offering one budding DJ a set at the European festival this July.

Applicants simply need to upload a 30-minute mix to the Mixcloud site under the Soundwave banner, for a chance to play the Soundwave Croatia Beach Stage in the coastal town of Tisno. Alongside this prize, this winner will also receive accommodation, travel expenses and a pair of VIP tickets to the event.

This year's festival features soulful dubwise headliners Fat Freddy's Drop (pictured), alongside a huge array of DJing talent, including Madlib, Mr Scruff, Gold Panda, Om Unit, Eliphino, Alexander Nut and The Bug.

The competition, open to Europeans only, closes on April 20^th. As you can see from the line-up, DJ entrants should be concentrated more on the funk/soul/hip-hop/dub/jazzy beats end of thre spectrum. Full details can be found here

Now in its sixth year, Soundwave Croatia has become one of Europe's most loved intimate festivals. Taking place in a secret cove known as The Garden, the event boasts beach and boat parties, along with an open-air nightclub, and will play host to 3000 festival-goers from July 17^th to 21^st.
