WIN RECORDS FROM PHANTASY'S EROL ALKAN AND DANIEL AVERY

Ahead of their 15th November appearance at Leed's Canal Mills

Whether you are a supporter of techno producer Erol Alkan, or simply a fan of dance music, you should want to snag a copy of Alkan's 'Illumination' EP on vinyl – and to save you some hard earned money, we have three copies to give away for free!

Erol Alkan and his London-based label Phantasy have just re-pressed his 2013 EP on vinyl. The three-track record may not be long, but it packs a punch of techno and experimental sounds that bumps from start to finish at a breakneck pace.

If that isn't enough, we also have two vinyls from Alkan's label mate Daniel Avery to give away. This Avery vinyl from Phantasy shows off the skills of producers Herr Roman Flügel and Ricardo Tobar. Flügel's rework of Avery's 'All I Need' is featured on the first side of the vinyl, while Tobar's remix of 'These Nights Never End' closes out the record with his beautiful and intricate sounds.

Both Erol Alkan and Daniel Avery are also set to appear alongside Moodymann, George Fitzgerald and John Talabot at Canal Mills in Leeds on 15th November. The event, put on by Red Bull Music Academy, features a killer lineup that will fill the night with unparalleled mixing skill in one of Leed's premiere electronic venues.

To find out more head over to the event page here and Canal Mills' Twitter page here. For more information about Phantasy check out their FaceBook page here and Twitter page here.

To hear the latest from Erol Alkan and Daniel Avery head over to their Twitter pages here and here respectively.

We have five copies of Alkan's EP on vinyl to give away and all you have to do is answer the following question for a chance to win.

After years of remixes, Erol Alkan released his first original track in 2009. What was the name of this track?

Email the answer and your information to [email protected] and an Alkan or Avery vinyl could be headed your way.
