WIN TICKETS TO SEE MODESELEKTOR IN LONDON

Berlin duo at The Troxy this Saturday

Berlin duo Modeselektor are playing at The Troxy (London) this Saturday — and DJ Mag has some tickets to give away.

Consisting of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, the group has successfully crafted their own brand of experimental techno drawing heavily from the Berlin scene.

Since forming in 1996, Modeselektor tracks like 'Berlin' and 'Happy Birthday' showcased their distinctive breed of rhythmic sub-bass-laden techno.

Their forward-thinking approach landed them a collaboration with Radiohead's Thom Yorke on their track 'This' in 2012. As well as the creation of their own label Monkeytown Records featuring the likes of Moderat, Mouse on Mars and Siriusmo, they've put out dancefloor decimating tracks via their spin-off label 50 Weapons.

The Berlin duo are joined by a monster lineup put together by Dollop in an old art deco theatre: Nosaj Thing, L-vis 1990, Dark Sky, Schlachthofbronx and Robot Koch as they continue their Modoselektion tour at the art-deco theatre space Troxy.

And you could be there, simply by sending the words MODESELEKTION TOUR TICKETS to [email protected]. We've got five pairs of ticket to give away!
