WIN! TROUBLE VISION NYE TICKETS

Three guestlist spots and a bag of drink tickets up for grabs!

Two heads are better than one is the old saying, right? A sentiment we wholeheartedly agree with, especially if both heads are this switched on. Besides, If New Year's Eve is about reflecting on what's past and looking forward to the future, you shan’t go wrong with these two.

It's generally accepted that the best New Year's parties take place within the confines of homes lived in by the ones we love; the rooms where good vibes reverberate all year round. Hence why Corsica Studios is a safe bet for house heads looking to rinse in the New Year. Catch four-year-old residents Trouble Vision and its younger brother Tief connecting to do what they do best in the venue they feel most comfortable. Casting any sibling rivalry aside, these two nights are the perfect match.

“At the moment, I think we're both into fairly similar stuff; left-leaning disco-tinged house and techno and beyond,” says Trouble Vision's Chris Gold. “Labels like Wolf, Permanent Vacation, Kompakt, Voyage Direct, Retreat, Aus and 3024 continue to out-do themselves.”

Still staying true to its dubby roots — David Rodigan and Zed Bias headlining the 4th birthday earlier this year — Trouble Vision has pushed further into house and techno territory, with the likes of Theo Parrish, Deetron and T.Williams playing in recent times, off the back of its time primarily as a bass night. Tief, however, has carved itself as a bastion for classy 4/4 music from the beginning, with Axel Boman, Hunee and Prosumer just a few of the highlights alongside a five-hour DJ set from Bicep, who return with John Talabot and Move D to play three-hour sets this New Year's Eve.

Wolf Music's KRL and Delusions Of Grandeur's one-to-watch Ben Sun also make the cut.
“Talabot, Move D, Bicep and KRL have all featured at our events over the last 18 months or so, and tick all our boxes,” says Tief's Matt Hesselworth. “They're amazing DJs who dig deep for broad, fun, interesting music and play for the love of it! You cant ask for more than that!”
