Winner of Point Blank Pro Producer course
We catch up with Joe Lancaster
A month ago we ran a competition to win a place on a four week Point Blank Online Pro Producer Course.
Covering dubstep, electro, hip-hop, minimal, deep house, EDM or trance on Logic or Ableton, they're approved by the likes of Claude VonStroke, and represent the best way to get your productions up to speed in only a month.
Congratulations then to winner Joe Lancaster who was chosen randomly from amongst the entrants. Here's what he had to say:
"I’m thrilled to have won a Pro Producer course with Point Blank. I did a music production course last year at another school that was useful in learning the basics of DAWs but didn’t help much with the skills you need for dance music. Since then I’ve watched the Point Blank tutorials in the DJmag newsletter every week and the tips I’ve picked up just from those have been amazing. I’m so excited to get the chance to do a full four-week programme and can’t wait to get stuck in. I’ll be enrolling in the Electro House for Logic course and hopefully it’ll give me the skills I’m missing to fulfil my New Year’s resolution of getting my first track signed to a label.
