The world's first permanent 3D soundsystem is opening this summer in London

The new arts venue opens this month…

London is getting a new arts and events space, dubbed Aures London, which boasts Europe’s first permanent 3D sound system.

Opening this summer, the 250 capacity space will boast the world’s most technologically advanced sound system which will offer visitors the kind of clarity found only in the world’s best recording studios.

“We have taken the biomechanics of hearing and scientifically create a space where you're optimising the listener’s experience to the highest degree,” said Aures London’s co-founder Sam Davis.

The ground-breaking 3D audio technology developed by Titan Reality has been made possible with a mass array of Pioneer Pro Audio XY speakers.

The system is powered by ten separate Powersoft amplifiers, arranged to cover the length of the venue, positioning sound not only left and right but also to the front and back and floor and ceiling.

Phase two, which will be ready in the summer, will see the venue install a low frequency, vibrating haptic floor, which will produce a physical sensation for the whole body.

Aures London has also joined forces with East London based visual experts, Observatory London, to explore Iconic Memory (Sight) through a combination of intelligent 3D lighting, 3D visual mapping, holograms AR and VR functions for true a multi-sensory experience.

You can get a feel for the system's clarity in the video below.
