How I Play Live: RÜFÜS DU SOL
We go behind the scenes of the Aussie trio's live setup
Grammy-award nominated RÜFÜS DU SOL have had a huge year since the release of their latest record 'Solace'. Key to the group's identity is their live show, very much a band-style set-up, with live drums, synths, vocals and guitar accompany their epic light and stage setups. Having smashed the US on their recent tour, including a sold-out show at LA's Historic Park, we wanted to catch up with the trio ahead of their Alexander Palace show in London, to find out more about the tech set-up behind their show.
The result was a fascinating insight into the group's rider, with Elektron drum machines and Dave Smith-heavy keyboard setup, as well as a special Max for Live patch designed to help them adjust and tweak setlists from show to show. Watch the video below to find out exactly how the show works and make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel for more How I Play Live videos.
