Premiere: Goldman ‘The Waiting Room’
WORKS Records and HALFTIME//SLOWFAST co-founder Goldman delivers four cuts of crisp jungle and footwork
Bristol’s Goldman will release a new EP via his WORKS Records label this week. Check out the title track below.
The DJ, producer and co-founder of the jungle, footwork and all things 160 BPM Facebook group, HALFTIME//SLOWFAST, makes his solo debut on the label with four tracks ranging from full-pelt club tools and atmospheric rollers. ‘Green VIP’ is a tender footwork cut; its emotive piano sample will make for sweet mid-set moments on top of a classic juke beat.
‘The Waiting Room’ is similarly delicate, with soft focus synths inspired by ‘90s studio mixes and video game soundtracks flowing over a rolling jungle beat.
