Montreal, Québec label Re:Conceive readies a new compilation of local electronic artists in aid of The Native Women’s Shelter of Montréal and Just Solutions

Montréal, Québec label Re:Conceive has announced a new compilation spotlighting electronic music produced by artists from the city. Listen to Neo Edo’s ‘Only One’ now.

Comprising 26 tracks from artists based in or around Montreal, or who are originally from there, the label’s second compilation doubles as a fundraising initiative, with all net profits set to be donated to The Native Women’s Shelter of Montréal and Just Solutions, a pro bono refugee legal clinic. 

Spanning techno, drum & bass, electro and house, there’s an ethereal thread that connects all of the tracks on this release, with atmospheric synths, velvety basslines and tender vocal samples peppered throughout. Featured artists include the likes of Maara, Priori, Martyn Bootyspoon, SIM, RAMZi, Ouri and many more. 

Neo Edo’s ‘Only One’ is an immense d&b roller that erupts from its cavernous, bassy depths into full freakout territory in its latter half. Massive.
