Pura Pura blends breaks, techno and hip-hop influences on his new EP for Monstart
Pura Pura will release a new EP, ‘Odyssey Club’, via French label Monstart in November. Listen to Bianca Oblivion’s remix of the title track below.
The Montpellier-based producer follows his fourth club edits release from May and the ‘7 Del Sol’ EP from February with four tracks that blend elements of hip-hop, techno, ghettotech and breaks into a heady club brew. Capped off with two rave-ready remixes from Bianca Oblivion and Sarah Farina, it’s a winner.
Bianca Oblivion’s rework is a classic breakbeat slammer a ‘90s hardcore backbone. It follows the LA-based producer’s recent EP, ‘Bad Gyal / EZ 4 Me’ on Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce label, which was one of our Staff Picks back in August.
