Lucrecia Dalt has announced a new album, ‘¡Ay!’, which arrives via RVNG Intl on 14th October.

The Berlin-based, Colombian musician, sound artist, performer, composer, and former geotechnical engineer has shared the LP's first single, 'No tiempo', which "explores weightlessness" over a backdrop of quivering keys and dreamy woodwind.

"This was the first track where I thought about how I could bring together these two disparate things: bolero and science fiction," she said of 'No tiempo'.

The follow-up to 2020 album 'No era sólida' – also released on RVNG Intl – sees Dalt blend the tropical bolero, salsa, and merengue music of her childhood in Colombia with "her signature experimental sci-fi-inspired storytelling and production". This new LP also follows her recent scores for HBO series 'The Baby' and body horror feature film 'The Seed'.

The idea behind the sci fi-led music video for 'No tiempo' was concieved by Dalt, created by Aina Climent in Mallorca and filmed on Spain's Galatzó Mountain in Spain. Watch the video and check out the album artwork below.
