FOUR DJS AND ARTISTS TO WATCH IN 2016

With Miller Genuine Draft

Dance music is an exciting place to be right now. The clubs are packed, the music is rocking and new artists are breaking through all the time. Here are four artists who are set for big things in 2016!

1. AUGUSTO YEPES

August Yepes won the prestigious Miller SoundClash competition earlier this year in Las Vegas. His skills behind the decks helped him rise to the top of the pile, defeating several thousand hopeful DJs along the way. Miller SoundClash has history of discovering future stars. 2015’s winners Tom & Collins went on to be signed to Universal Records.

2. KILL THE BUZZ

Hardwell’s trusted support act, Kill The Buzz is well on his way towards dance music’s elite. The Dutch artist was originally a producer before getting into DJing in 2012. He now plays around the world with Hardwell, Dannic and Dyro and releases on Revealed Recordings. Rest assured 2016 is set to be the year KTB breaks out on his own.

3. HAN HAAK

Masked progressive tech house producer and DJ Han Haak has a passion for driving techno. For the last two years he has opened the main room at Top 100 DJs at London’s Brixton Academy and releases records on John Digweed’s Bedrock and Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat imprints. Most definitely an artist to track in 2016.

4. NEW_ID

When Axwell starts playing your tracks, you can be sure you are onto a good thing. And so it was for Amsterdam-based duo No_ID who got their big break after their tracks started making it into the EDM superstar’s sets. They eventually signed to Axtone, his label, and have a released a series of big room anthems. 2016 will be the year this Dutch duo reach the big time!
