How does it feel to be the winner of Miller SoundClash 2015?!

Describe the moment you were announced by Dannic as this year’s winner?
“At first I couldn’t believe it. It was such an honour to receive this recognition by Dannic and I felt so thrilled to be the winner of this global competition!”
What were your thoughts before going on to play at the finale, especially after hearing your fellow finalists?
“I felt calm and confident but at the same time a little nervous because all the opponents were extremely good, so I knew it was going to be a challenge – there would be no easy win.”
Did you improvise during your finale set or did your mix preparation automatically work for the crowd?
“During the finale I completely improvised, as I always do. I like to connect with the crowd and improvise depending on their mood and vibe.”
Which one of the other finalists stood out for you?
“A lot of the other Latin American DJs – Ritmo Equis, Caissa, Charlie & Zulu - perhaps because our styles and cultures are similar.”
How do you think competitions like Miller SoundClash help up and coming DJs like yourself?
“I believe this opportunity will be key for my DJ career since I will now get the chance to travel, learn, and get to know a lot of people in the music industry. I also now get to work and become a member of the AfterCluv family which is a great honour, so competitions like this can help really shape the careers of up and coming DJs.”
How did you find the whole Las Vegas experience?
“Las Vegas is absolutely amazing. I have wanted to come forever and what a better occasion than this. I enjoyed every minute of it!”
What was it like opening up for DANNIC at Dria’s?
"Opening up for Dannic was incredible, I am really grateful for this opportunity. Drias´s is the best club I have every played, the environment absolutely amazed me.”
Any advice for those DJs entering Miller SoundClash 2016?
“To all the DJs participating in Miller SoundClash 2016, I encourage them to be themselves and enjoy every minute of the competition - see you there next year!”
