Hex/Fatalism

Hemlock
The quiet(est) man of the Hessle Audio crew steps out with another two killers, proving that dropping your tempo from dubstep to house doesn't mean losing any of the rudeness, dread and weight that made the genre so exciting in the first place. Pangaea is writing the best basslines of his career right now, and 'Hex' keeps up that run of form with a rolling b-line between hardcore and dubstep, brought to life by those tight, snapping drums he does so well. 'Fatalism' is the winner though, a total pisstake full of demented dissonance and pygmified wobble. The definition of OOF.
