Hessle Audio
This was quite a record eight or so months ago when I heard it in an Appleblim set; the ultra skeletal percussion with very little else was fresh, exciting and sounding like a undernourished, slightly wheezy Tito Puente. Now it sits perfectly amongst Blawan, Untold, Pangaea and Ramadanman within Hessle's burgeoning sonic footprint. 'Level Crossing' provides further exploration of this style, daring to peek a cheeky organ stab in the midst of the rambling percussion.
