Turbo Recordings
After his killer 4 track EP on his own white label back in Spring, the North Londoner wastes no time in keeping the public fed and watered on his brand of rugged dance music. His debut on Tiga's seminal Turbo Recordings maintains the quality, if downplaying the trademark brutality, well at least on opener Ruffa, which is dominated by borderline breakbeat pattern and a raw but infectious stabbing synth line. No Hook is a sneaky one, which builds unremittingly into a stompathon. And J Tijn rounds things off by sticking a techno Trojan horse inside No Hook.
