Visionquest Thirteen heralds new era for Detroit foursome... and mankind

“It was never meant to be the end. It was a transition,” say Visionquest on the recent end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar – heralded by the media as the supposed apocalypse - ahead of their new project, Visionquest Thirteen.

Naming themselves after a shamanic rites of passage, The Visionquest collective of Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss, Shaun Reeves and Ryan Crosson have always looked back into ancient mysticism for clues on how to forge a better future. So choosing the significance packed number thirteen is no-coincidence as they embark on a series of thirteen parties, taking in London, Germany, Manchester, Chicago, Ibiza, Amsterdam, the American Wilderness, Paris, New York, Turin, Buenos Aires, Miami and Rural Chile.

The project’s full tour listing will be announced on Friday 22nd March, but promises all four DJing together, pushing the boundaries of their production and DJing set-up, and giving those too far away from their residency at DC10 this summer the chance to experience the magic invoked when all members combine their skill and experience.
