Incendiary work from Planet E and Mothership alumnus Monty Luke, he of Detroit's Black Catalogue fame. Flitting between the darkness and the light, 'Dystopic Visions' is all loose hats, perpetual arps and occasional vocal howls. It's a relentless, fiendishly simple groove. '4th From The Sun' brings the disco, with looped-up fury from the Derrick Carter school of dancefloor mania. 'Black Timelord' busts up the beats, hurling in vamping jazz brass in freestyle fashion to rather devastating effect. Smart.
