Romanian hotshot Pedro, also known as Petre Inspirescu, releases his first EP on Luciano's excellent label. 'Mostra' is probably the track most associated with the Cadenza sound with its long, ever-developing percussive journey punctuated with little bleeps and a harpsichord-like melody. However, it's on tracks like 'Rackadoom' where we really get to hear Pedro express his own groovier style - a pray horn bubbles away with some really screwed-up spoken word vocals. 'Gallantry' is my favourite with its washy hats, insane bassline and barber shop-style vocals. Rounding off the double pack is the dreamy, idyllic groove of La Crème Bonjour. Excellent.
